Problem backing up a DFS drive on a windows 2012 server.

I am trying to do a backup on an individual drive.  I'm backing up an M:\ drive.  This M:\ drive is replicated from another server.

I have created a policy and added M:\ and Shadow Copy Components:/

I get nothing in M:\ (DFS).  ok. expected kind of.

It runs fine but never seems to backup  Shadow Copy Components. No DFS folders.

The dfs in Shadow copy components is not seen in a restore.

I have also tried without the M:\ and only the Shadow Copy Components:/

Still nothing.

This is the first time we are trying this.

Any help greatly appreciated.
