I have a Windows 2012 DFSR server that is replicating data from a remote server. We back up the DFSR server. No issues with the backup. I wanted to test restores, though. Created a test file on the remote server, let it replicate to the DFSR server, and then backed up the DFSR server. After backup was complete, deleted file on remote server. File was deleted off of the DFSR server as expected. Tried to restore the file to the DFSR server, but it failed. When I ran the restore, I went into the Shadow Copy Components/User Data area and selected the file to be restored. On the restore screen, selected to restore to original location and to Overwrite any existing files. Failed with the message:
10/28/2014 2:49:12 PM - Warning bpbrm(pid=8032) from client xxxxxdfs01: WRN - can't create directory: (WIN32 3: The system cannot find the path specified. )

If I restore the file to a different disk on the DFSR server and move it to the replicated folder, that works fine and the file replicates back to the remote server as it is supposed to. Any ideas why I can't restore directly to the original location?
Client, master server, media servers all at V7.5.0.6 of NetBackup.
