1) I have a scenario were Master Server is of lesser version than many Media Servers (higher version)
Technical Details as below
Master:
Linux 2.6.18-128.el5 ,64 bit ,NB VERSION NetBackup 7.5.0.4v
Media :
5 Media Servers : Solaris10,NB 7.5.0.6v &
1 Media server : Solaris9.5,NB NB 6.5v
However all the type of backups are running without any issues.
Hence I would need the inputs like what are all the 'RISK FACTOR' with above scenario
Honeslty speaking ,I was in the assumption that Media Servers & Clients - NB version above NetBackup Master server can never run\have the backups
2) Which 'all factors' to be considered RISKS when we review a NetBackup environment in general ? Reference to any Link\Document to justify the identified RISKS would be much helpful to take it to the Project Team
Eg : I had noticed 'catalog backups were not configured,which is a RISK (Now I have configured)
