Media server De commission

Dear Friends,

I need help on media server decommissioning , It is very strange senario .

I had a media server on windows 2008 platform , and it was not in use since long time but it was up and runing .

now i come to know that the media server physically has been removed from datacenter by windows admin without informing us :(

and i have to upgrade master server patch from 7.6.0.3 to 7.6.0.4 , i ran NBCC and shared to symantec they found that inconsistency is due this media server.

Now i have to decommission from netbackup master server and media server  is not available physicaly .

is it possible to decommission if yes then how  ?
