Flashbackup for windows across the WAN advice

We have a remote site on a 20MB link with our central MSDP Pool and want to centralise the backups with Netbackup. We are running Netbackup 7.6.0.4

The remote server is an HP Proliant DL380e Gen8 with 10 x 300Gb 6G SAS 10k drives , while the MSDP is a Netbackup appliance 5230

The remote server currently have 4 data volumes 1.2TB, 200GB , 150GB, 30GB and are  all pretty full .

We intend to try and implement flashbackup for windows which has been recoomended for sites sites with very large data which are pretty full

  1. We will create an additional volume (N:\) 50GB to be used for flashbackups configure all the volumes VSS snapshots to this volume N:\ .. Is this good practice? All the snapshots on one volume?? Of do I need a separate VSS volume for each data volume?
  2. With a 20MB link any estimate how long the first backup will take? Do I need to still Pre-seed the data like we do in traditional backups??
  3. Is the remote server hardware adequate?

An extra comments or advice will be much appreciated
