NBU Client Migration

Hi,

Customer needs to migrate clients to another master server.

I found the thread below and gathered some information related to this.

Here are the information I gathered:

• What about all the databases on the old master?

                                -catalog for the old and new will not merge, database for the old master will not be migrated.

•          Do you need to migrate images, devices, media information as well?

                                -only the media information will be migrated, we think import of the tapes will do this. For you confirmation also.

•          Will the same or different media server be used on new environment?

                                -no, we already provided the media server and successfully connected the Quatum Scalar Tape Library in NBU Cloud.

•          Same devices (robot, tape drives) and media on new environment or all new?

                                -this will be all new to the new master.
