Environment:
NetBackup 7.6.0.2 on the master and media servers. EMM server is the master server.
Observation:
The free drive space containing the Image_dbgets reduced drastically while we search for the old images on the BAR window. Moreover the BAR window is slow in displaying the contents of a single weekend backup image as well.
Issue description:
Say when the free space of the drive contatining Images_db is 150GB and while we serach the old images in BAR window, the free space gets reduced drastically from 150 GB to 120 GB in less than 10 minutes.
Concern:
When there is backup to happen during this space reduction, we suspect that there will be no free space available and the backups might fail.
